A Comprehensive Pain Evaluation...

...is for pets that have difficulty getting around, need help with recovery from surgery or injury, have cancer, or who have not responded to attempts to control pain.

 

During the initial visit I will:

• Ask you about your major concerns - quality of life, goals, challenges

• Review previous medical records for findings & treatment, videos and imaging (xrays, CT, etc.)

• Perform a thorough examination that includes gait, motion palpation, basic neurologic exam, myofascial pain assessment

• Create a detailed medical record to share with your other healthcare providers

• Propose and discuss with you a course of action to help your pet, including costs.

• We do what you feel works for you, and your pet.

I will create a written summary listing recommendations & prescribing for your pet. Then we can follow up by email or phone as needed. Follow up blood testing and prescribing can be done with your primary care vet. You will feel supported as you work on your pet's condition.
